Bereavement / Grief Feelings of sadness and anger are normal responses to the death of a loved one, but sometimes these feelings can deepen to the point of impairing your ability to function. If you have symptoms of sleeplessness, disinterest in activities, or loss of appetite, talking with a close friend, pastor, or family member can help. Prolonged symptoms that last for more than one year, however, should be evaluated by a primary care doctor or mental health provider. |
