Job-related Conflicts Problems at work often result from stress, poor communication, or relationship conflicts with colleagues and supervisors. Job uncertainty, changes in routine or work responsibilities, and financial pressures can also contribute to workplace conflict. Unfortunately, these frustrations often carry over to our private lives as well, causing disruption to home and family relationships too. When this happens, it often helps to discuss the problems with a therapist who is trained in conflict resolution. Therapy may include learning new coping strategies, developing conflict resolution skills, and using stress reduction techniques. |
