UT Medical Group, Inc.'s urologynecologist Veronica T. Mallett, M.D. provide bladder control and pelvic pain care for women through the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She and UTMG's other Gynecologists are committed to the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pelvic pain and voiding dysfunction. Our doctors specialize in pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic pain offering patients the newest diagnostic tools including video-urodynamics and rectal manometry.
Our Gynecologists are experienced in managing patients with the dilemma and frustration of chronic pelvic pain. Many patients also complain of irritating voiding symptoms as well as bowel and sexual dysfunction. The cause of this debilitating disorder is unknown and many patients are given a clinical diagnosis of urethral syndrome, interstitial cystitis, endometriosis, and irritable bowel disease.
The treatment of this debilitating disorder is multifactorial and complex. We offer a range of state-of-the-art and unique treatments that include:
