Voice Care Associates

UT Medical Group, Inc.'s Voice Care Associates is a division of The Department of Otolaryngology and is comprised of physicians on the faculty of the University Of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis who offer both clinical and consultation services. These nationally and internationally renowned, board-certified physicians specialize in the study of the ear, nose, throat and allied conditions.

Whether the need is vocal rehabilitation, performance enhancement, or medical treatment, our specialists use state of the art equipment and clinical techniques to help our patients reach their full vocal potential. Nothing is more important to the professional or serious voice user than their ability to communicate. The voice is a direct link to emotions, expression, and artistry. Voice Care Associates clients include singers, actors, teachers, ministers, salespersons, coaches, broadcasters and the aging voice user.

Typical patient symptoms include hoarse, raspy, or breathy voiced quality; increased effort when talking or singing; reduced vocal ability, pitch, or volume; fatigue – when the voice tires easily, gets fuzzy or weak and feels raw or sore; loss of agility in the singing voice; and difficulty with focus and registration adjustment in the singing voice.

Our unique team of voice care specialists will evaluate your present vocal communication skills and help you identify goals and objectives. We will assist you in beginning programs which will allow you to develop skills designed to maximize your vocal potential.
