UT Medical Group Inc. has strengthened its heart care services with the addition of physicians from Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Association (TCVSA).

“We are pleased to announce that two organizations with long traditions for quality care have joined forces to enhance heart and cardiothoracic surgery in the Mid-South,” says Steven H. Burkett, UT Medical Group President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited about working together to improve the health of our patients and other Mid-South citizens seeking cardiac services. By combining the clinical skills of TCVSA specialists with the knowledge and talents of UTMG doctors, we will greatly benefit our patients.”

The experienced physicians and staff from TCVSA will continue to care for patients through UT Medical Group at UTMG offices in the Medical Center, located at 1325 Eastmoreland Avenue, Suite 220. Among the specialists joining UTMG are: Drs. Phillip Schoettle, Jr.; Hammond Cole, Jr.; Jonathan J. Ellichman; O.B. Harrington; Austin Hunt II; and Alim Khandekar.
