UT Medical Group Adds Menopause Specialist

Dr. Janice (Jan) M. Shier has joined the department of obstetrics and gynecology at UT Medical Group Inc. and been named assistant professor of OB/GYN at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) College of Medicine.

Board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Shier specializes in general gynecology and menopause. She holds a doctorate of pharmacy from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, where she most recently served as clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology. She cares for patients at UT Medical Group’s Germantown office, 7945 Wolf River Boulevard.
