UT Medical Group Inc. welcomes the following additions to the department of information systems management team.

Jill Truitt has been appointed vice president of information systems and chief information officer. Truitt comes to UTMG from Minneapolis, where she was information services director and program director for Allina Hospitals and Clinics, a 22,000-employee health care system. She has more than 25 years of experience in the area of health care information technology and management. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Truitt also holds a master’s of business administration degree from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa.

Also joining the department is director of infrastructure Jeff Wilegus. His background includes more than 10 years of experience in information technology and IT management. Most recently, he was senior manager of engineering for Accredo Health Inc. Wilegus has a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix.
