The University of Tennessee Department of Ophthalmology was recently ranked eighth among ophthalmologic institutions for quality clinical care in the United States by Ophthalmology Times.
The rankings were determined by a survey of 75 department chairs of ophthalmology in the country and published in the publication’s November 15 issue.
Dr. Barrett Haik is the Hamilton Professor in Ophthalmology and chair of the department at UT Medical Group and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
