Dr. Saumini Srinivasan has joined the Pediatrics Department as a board-certified pediatric pulmonologist. She joins a strong team headed by Dr. Dennis Stokes, Chief of Pediatric Pulmonology, along with Dr. Robert Schoumacher and Dr. James Tutor.

She comes to UTMG from Duke University School of Medicine, where she recently completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in India and completed pediatric residencies there and at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. She later went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric pulmonology at Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Srinivasan has a special interest in lung involvement in sickle cell anemia and the use of exercise programs to diagnose lung disease. She cares for patients at 777 Washington, Suite P-110 and at the Germantown office, Suite 250.
